MyGeotab - How can Drivers Add Assets to the Database

Issue: Drivers pull different trailers but it is not showing up in the drive app. 

When using a mobile device or tablet, it is not possible to add assets directly to the Drive app. Assets can be added using the Geotab Fleet Management app

1. Create a Sub-clearance in mygeotab portal for drivers who need to add assets to the database.

2. Enable the following clearances.

3. Click Save. Assign such clearances to the drivers that need to add assets to the database.

4. Download the Mygeotab Fleet Management app from the Play store or App store. 

  

5. Login to the MyGeotab fleet Management app using the same credentials in the Drive app.

6. Click Add Asset and add the asset accordingly. Indicate the Godevice SN if it is a vehicle, no Godevice for trailers (unless they have solar trackers - put the serial number) 

7. Choose the Asset Type. Then click Save/Ok.

Drivers who are not added as Users in the database would not be able to access the Drive app nor the MyGeotab Fleet Management app.
