Flex Tracker - Inaccurate location on the map
The frequency of logging drops when the battery of the device is not optimal, which is why is delayed in the map compared to . Flex asset trackers function best when they receive sufficient sunlight every day to keep battery charge above 60%. Logging and communication rate decreases as battery level becomes lower in order to preserve battery.
Flex Tracker logs is reporting at the frequency determined by Flex, which is logging every minute and reporting the data to our systems every 10 minutes. Since this is the frequency determined by Flex, there is not much we can do on our end to change the frequency of the data reported from their devices.
It is normal for devices to go into sleep mode to save energy. In sleep mode, the devices heartbeat to ensure that they are communicating properly or if there are updates that need to go through. The devices should still show up on the map.
